energy system. by the way, we can create jobs doing that. right now our republican friends, when you talk about want to do entilement reform, it's not entitlement reform. let's be clear. it's massive cuts in social security, medicare, veterans programs, medicaid. >> you know their argument is that you can't just raise taxes. you have to, at some point, you have to get your fiscal house in order and that means cuts to some of these entitlement programs. >> no it does not. when you talk about getting your fiscal house in order, that's correct, but our republican friends forget to mention that at 15.8%, revenue compared to gdp, that is the lowest percentage in 60 years. when clinton gave us a balanced budget, revenue was about 20%. we have one out of four corporations, profitable corporations not paying a nickel in taxes in america. the effective corporate tax rate today is the lowest it's been since 1972. of course republicans want to cut social security, medicare, medicaid. but i think it is time for large corporations who are not paying a nickel in taxes to start paying their fair share.

in the upper 20s. and the system that's coming our way. is really two pieces of energy. one in the south and one in the north. now if they were to get together and phase as we call it meteorologically we can get a big storm out of this. it's not going to be until the storm is out here. sorry snow lovers no big event here in the metro but the favorited mountains could get 6- inches, in fact warm enough aloft we have freezing rain falling across southern kentucky and tennessee this morning. but the snow is going to take a while to get here and the air is really dold. 8 degrees now in williamsport and we're 20 at reagan national and low to mid-teens in some of the suburbs this morning. outside on our michael & son weather camera, really good visibility under cloudy skies. north northwesterly winds at 10. it's 20 degrees feeling like 9 and the dew point is at 1 below. one of the problems we have to overcome is it's very dry air with the 21-degree spread between the temperature and the dew point humidity at 40%. the initial snow will likely be evaporating. so second storm on the way. yesterda
